Justin Childers was called as pastor/elder in August of 2006. He and his wife, Jeanna, along with their daughter, Karis, moved to Wilson from Texas. Justin’s entire ministry and life revolve around faithfulness to the Word of God. His desire is to build God’s church by allowing the Bible to be central in all aspects of the lives of the people of Christ Baptist Church. Justin and Jeanna had their second child, Noah, in December 2007.

“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” - Philippians 3:8

Tim Dale serves as co-elder with Justin. A thirty-year resident of Wilson and an employee of BB&T, Tim has a passion to see the love of Christ shared in this community through biblical preaching, effective evangelism, deliberate discipleship, and true biblical fellowship. He and his wife, Carol, desire to minister to the needs of the people of Christ Baptist Church.

Jonathan Brooks was called as associate pastor in January of 2007. He and his wife, Lori, along with their daughter, Hannah, moved to Wilson from Florida. In February, they had their second daughter, Madeline. Jonathan currently works at The Imagination Station in downtown Wilson. Jonathan's desire is to see Christ honored and the church grow to maturity.
